c’est chouet ça. Really loved the atmosphere, the music, the dreamy urban aesthetic. Got stuck in the bit with the two fishgirls though. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Wishlisted the game on Steam anyway, this is one of the most marvellously weird games I’ve seen in a while and experimenting with games+poetry is so my vibe.

p.s. : go Godot crew!

(+2)

nice style and this game can help those who try to learn how to type

(+2)

She's LITERALLY me.

(+2)

oh shit. Kieran Loves You

RIGHT!?

Interesting looking game. But I'm not personally a fan of talk-y kinda games and was expecting there to be more mechanics for me to mess around with. I really like the typing thing though. That's very interesting but I'm not sure how much I like typing what other people said as a gameplay mechanic.

(+2)

I love this game

(+2)

yo this game was weird but the vibes were cool

(+1)

i accidentally pressed forward and enter at the same time and went out of bounds is this intentional 💔

no </3 lmao was this on the ladder?

(+1)

I don´t love you gay (keryin)

(+3)

What's that mean

(+3)

WE LOVE YOU SPHERE

Буквально лучшая игра в которую я играл в последнее время. Я на самом деле очень большой фанат таких странных игр с интересной задумкой и сюжетом, но эта игра что то большее. Она действительно мне понравилась.

I can also help yall to translate this game on russian. NO I REALLY LIKE THIS GAME LIKE FR

(+1)(-1)

visually great but the game-play of walk back and forth trying to remember a bunch of different phrases is pretty dull, especially when dyslexic and needing to run back 3 extra times because you don't remember if ricefish has a space or not because your brain didn't read it. think having a notes/key would help a lot for that since the exact phrase is already caps locked to show what it is

(+4)

Thanks for the feedback. For future reference, pressing TAB brings up a notepad for the purpose of taking notes.

In the future I will try to visually tutorialize this feature better.

(+1)

Ah. Yeah I kept trying to click it and nothing happened

(+1)

im turkish can make translation.

(+3)

I WANNA TRANSLATE YOUR GAME TO TAGALOG PLSSSSS

:)

I have a few issues to solve with my dialogue exports, but I'm gradually figuring it out. I'm busy with work lately, so it might take a little while.

(+1)

mahal ka ni keyrin💗

(+2)(-1)

NO, KEYRIN, I DO NOT LOVE YOU.

(+3)

nice game lol

I’m Italian and I have problems in putting the words because i put wrong some letters, can fix?

(+1)

In future translations, it will be necessary to add more keyboard locales. For now, though, the only solution to this issue is to switch to an English keyboard layout in order to play.

(+2)

Нихера не понял, но очень интересно

Quite interesting game with cool idea of typing, unusual graphics and weird plot, that im dont understand

Cool!

спасибо за комментарий, учту

cool, I need to play in this

(+4)

such a beautiful and unique game! We love you, Kagi.

(+1)

kagi loves you!

(-1)

my single nitpick would be that the text input is case sensitive and it doesn't appear to be since all typeface is capitalized by default.

(+2)

TOTALLY AWESOME. The music and gameplay is great. I am wish listing it right now.

(+4)(-1)

Hey, I want to translate your game into Turkish!
Reach out to me if you're interested.

(+2)

Glad you added a linux build, i'll test it for you when i have the time, maybe tonight or tomorrow.

For some info about my system, the distro is use is nixos, and i use an nvidia gpu, i configured wine which is a windows compatability layer for linux so i can play windows games too (umu launcher + GE proton specifically), so even if the linux build doesnt work most people can still play the windows version on linux as long as the game doesnt try interfacing with the desktop environment too much like kinito pet for example (though even kinito pet i managed to get working on linux with a specific version of wine)

So yeah i'll let you know how the game runs on linux, btw if the game is built on godot it will propably work fine, if its on unity there's a chance for it to not work well especially via the wine compatability layer unity

(+1)

yep, works fine

Thanks so much for testing, that's a big help to me. My hardware setup is kind of atypical, so sometimes godot windows builds won't run on my windows partition, but will run perfectly fine on arch thru GE proton.

We are fortunate that we aren't doing any OS-level stuff yet, so I figured if anything was going to fail on mac/linux it'd be graphics. I anticipate that this might change if we decide to make mobile or deck-verified builds (text input system prompting a keyboard, etc etc).

(+1)

Your welcome!

if you need help playtesting on linux you can always reach out.

porque siento que este juego podría estar en el mismo universo de  ENA

I found myself softlocked during Key-Lo I believe. The ROLL field was the only field that was not grayed out, but I could only type in the UN-LOCK field, and when I typed UN-LOCK, nothing happened. I couldn't type ROLL either. anyway, I rebooted the demo and finished it properly, i found the main thruline quite touching and relatable! dare i say beautiful?? loved how things kept restating in really neat ways across the dreamscape, and the music restating in different soundfonts/instruments! definitely going to wishlist

(+1)

i am gonna look into this bug more. i thought i had gotten it, but i think i just didn't test enough ( ; ω ; )

thank you for reporting it, and for being infinitely charitable despite this disruption.

(+2)

Amazing! Loved the atmosphere and the story telling, it provides players with room to think and the typing mechanic is a great touch. Got to the dice rolling game, where it soft-locked (I play on Linux), but I'm liking it so far

(+1)

so sorry abt this; i'm going back into the dice game code to figure out what's goin' on

(+2)

i think this flew over my head but it was still a very cool experience.. added it to my wishlist!

(+2)

I am glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for wishlisting :)

yoo more three verses!! super excited!!! edit: just played it, the writing is absolutely beautiful. this short lil story really moved me, i actually cried at the ending. i can't wait for the full release.

thank you so much, I cried too :')

Hey, whenever I boot up the game, it just appears as a black screen for me :( How do I fix this?

Sorry to hear this. It might be an issue with godot's vulkan renderer not working with older hardware. what are the specs/operating system of your PC?

I’m trying to run it on a Windows 10

Small update: I tried running on older hardware/Win10 and I think the issue is that it's a build using Vulkan instead of OpenGL.

I tried to make an OpenGL build, but it broke pretty much every graphical asset in the main scene :(

I'll see what I can do about providing better compatibility in future releases. Sorry about this x.x

(+1)

its okay! right now i accidentally broke my windows 10 but now ive finally got a windows 11! maybe that'll make it  work for me…

my fingers are crossed :)

(+3)

Oh, what a wonderful atmosphere in this work! The characters and backgrounds move, making everything feel more immersive and so fun! And the details in KEYRIN-chan's room are amazing! The beer bottle cases turn into boxes, a futon is laid on the tatami, an old computer sits there, and there are scattered dakimakura and mysterious objects! It is super, super good! THREE VERSES³ is also something I am super, super, super excited for, meow~! 🐾

(+2)

nice game, reminds me a lot of MYST

(+2)

Lovely, just like Three Verses. I did however fly through the map multiple times while climbing the ladder and had the game crash once when I pressed ENTER while entering the KEY-LO room. Overall, I am still in love with Three verses and can't wait for it to come out fully!

(+1)

Oh no! I appreciate you being charitable despite some pretty big bugs :') My sincere apologies.

I also appreciate you being detailed.
I'm gonna look into both of these today;

The ladder bug I'm aware of / have struggled with a bit, but will properly solve now.

The KEY-LO room entrance crash -- I have not experienced yet, but I'll try to replicate it. I've at least got a suspicion what could be causing it.

Thanks again, luv
sphere

Yeah, no problem, loved everything going on in this demo . Although, I was also able to break the cutscenes through continually pressing ENTER and going back into the dialogue options (I could loop the fishing cutscene), this is probably a very similar issue to the other ones.

Somewhat similar: that one has to do with the dialogue system hogging the current camera. Since most of the progression is done through calling autoload functions thru dialogue, we're sometimes very narrowly dodging unintended conflicts.

I suspect the KEY-LO room one has to do with an errant call to kill the loading screen upon entry.

The ladder one, though, is kind of funny: it's just globally translating player position, but seems to go awry when it's interacted with while other inputs are active. I think I've built so many checks and timers around that exact glitch that, at this point, I should probably just rethink it entirely, lol.

Thanks so much for the bug reports, & for being supportive of THREE VERSES from the very beginning. I will make sure these are fixed :)

(+1)

got stuck insde Key-Lo. She hit me with a KEY-LO, I unlocked and couldn't do anything but press ?. It didn't scan me attempts to write ROLL

But overall I really like the idea, makes the player more involved <3

I appreciate your kind words despite the frustrating bug; I'm sorry about that x.x

May I ask: when did you download the game? I ask because the bug sounds like something I thought I'd patched in the most recent version, but if you were playing the new version I need to double check :o

I am sorry for taking that long to reply. Whether it's of use or not. I can only say that I have downloaded the game on the same day I wrote the comment, so the version from 18 days ago.

No worries! In that case, I'm pretty sure I've addressed that in the current patch.

Again thanks so much <3

(+3)

this game made me feel very happy, so excited for full release you guys are seriously doing an incredible job with this

(+3)

Cool vibes and enjoyed the note taking mechanic. I look forward to seeing how that mechanic gets used further in the full game and I will have to check out the original three verses!

(+4)

Love the style of the game and the soundtrack, can't wait for full release!

(1 edit) (+4)

I loved Three Verses when I played it back in the 2023 LSDJAM, and Keyrin Loves You has me just as hooked! I can't wait for the full release of Three Verses³, this is seriously super cool and unique!
